Gas works due to finish this week
Major gas works that have caused traffic disruption in Dewsbury town centre are due to be completed on Friday (November 22).
Northern Gas Networks has spent £500,000 replacing 1.2km of ageing metal gas mains in the Church Street and Mill Street East areas.
Wayne Fisher, customer operations area manager for Pennines at Northern Gas Networks, said: “I would like to take this opportunity to apologise for any inconvenience caused during these essential works, and thank members of the public for their patience and support throughout.”
