The next generation of performers take over the reins at Dewsbury Arts Group when its youth classes host an evening of three plays.
Youth members not only star in the main productions throughout the year, but also help backstage and with front of house duties.
But the shows on Tuesday April 8 and 9 are their chance to lead the action.
The evening begins with Unsung, a play by David Foxton about a young boy pursuing his dream to become a hero as he grows up.
This Little Piggy Had Roast Beef is the bizarre and humorous tale of revered celebrity chef Harold Barrel after he is forced to go on the run.
Finally, Dead End Kids is a fictionalised account of young children living in London at the start of the Blitz.
The shows are at Dewsbury Artspace, Lower Peel Street, at 7.30pm. Tickets priced £9 (concessions £8) are available from 01924 4675647.
