Hide AdNews of the scheme’s renewal was welcomed by Dewsbury Retail Forum when it met on Tuesday.
Members said the scheme had proved very popular with customers, with many telling them they planned to spend longer shopping or have lunch in town on their next visit as a result of getting a voucher.
Businesses who take part in the scheme are being reminded to destroy any unused vouchers from the current scheme when they expire at the end of March.
Any shoppers or visitors trying to use the current vouchers after March 31 will be issued with a parking ticket.
