Firefighters tackle bedroom blaze
Firefighters tackled a blaze that started in a bedroom in Ravensthorpe last night (Sunday).
They were called out just before 8pm to a house in Hebble Street, where smoke was seen pouring from the first floor bedroom.
Using two fire engines, firefighters managed to put out the flames before they spread to the rest of the house.
The house was empty at the time.
A fire service spokesman said the cause of the fire was being investigated.
