Fire in Nab Lane allotments
Two fire pumps were sent to an allotment in Mirfield at the weekend to put out a fire in a chicken shed.
Fire crews from Dewsbury attended the Nab Lane allotments at 12.30pm on Sunday, in which the blaze affected three sheds housing the chicken.
The fire was brought under control with the crews leaving at 1.39pm. It is believed five chickens died in the blaze.
