Fire brigade called after dog locks woman out of house

A PESKY pooch locked its owner out of her house last night by wedging a bone behind her front door.

A crew from Dewsbury fire station was called at around 7.40pm to force the door open.

The woman had only left her house in Battye Street, Eastborough, for a moment but went back to find she could not get in.

Firefighters used a jimmy bar to force the door open and remove the bone.

“She had left a pan on the hob as well,” a fire service spokesman said.

“She was quite distressed about her dog being in with the pan.”
