The festival starts at 12.30pm and is in aid of the NSPCC and Overgate Hospice in Elland.

New for this year, there will also be craft, and cake stalls, face painting a barbecue and ice cream sellers.

Organisers Matt Smith said: “I’m really looking forward to this year’s Farmfest. Last year’s event was a real success, so we’re hoping as many people come along and enjoy the fun and help raise money for two local worthy causes.

“This is a real local event and shows fantastic community spirit. All musicians and organisers have donated their time free of charge, in fact this year the response has been so overwhelming as we have had more musicians wanting to play than we have hours in the day.”

Helen Verity, NSPCC community fundraiser, said: “I would like to thank everyone who has worked so hard to make this festival happen again this year – it will be a fantastic day and an event not be missed for those who love live music and supporting the NSPCC helping vulnerable children and young people.”

Advance adult tickets cost £5 or £7 on the day, with children under 12 free if accompanied by an adult.
