Family fun day helps inform and entertain

A family fun day is taking place later this month aimed at informing Kirklees folk about the services and support available to them.

Emergency services called to bridge in Doncaster

The Calderdale, Kirklees, Wakefield and Barnsley Learning Disability Partnership Boards are inviting local people to their ‘It’s My Health Day – Transforming Care’.

The day will include information about how to look after yourself in a fun way, as well as chances to have your say on how local health and social services.

In particular, people with learning disabilities, their families, friends and carers are being encouraged to attend the event.

The event is on Wednesday, May 25 (10am-3pm) at the Village Hotel, Capitol Boulevard West in Tingley, Leeds.
