Fall Lane, Dewsbury, closed for gas works
Fall Lane in Dewsbury is to be closed until Friday while a gas main is replaced.
Northern Gas Networks engineers started work today on the metal gas main in the road, off Huddersfield Road.
Wayne Fisher, Northern Gas Networks customer operations area manager, said: “We would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused and reassure members of the public that we will do all we can to complete the work as quickly as possible.”
A diversion route has been clearly signposted and pedestrian access was open, he added.
