Fab festival – but tell us about it!
I attended another excellent local event in the World Together Festival at Crow Nest Park on Saturday, following hot on the heels of the Dewsbury Together Festival a few weeks earlier.
I do feel, however, that these events could have a significantly higher attendance were they given more publicity.
It always appears to be that Dewsbury based events are ‘’poor relations’’ in the Kirklees scheme of things.

Hide AdI only became aware of it on reading Friday’s Reporter and I only live a quarter of a mile from the park. Having said that it was a wonderful occasion with many different events from the reading of Yorkshire dialect poetry right round the world to the New Zealand Haka.
