Experts to take over at school
The experts, appointed by the Department for Education, will be responsible for making sure Earlsheaton Technology College continues to improve.

Hide AdInspectors found improvements were needed during their visit in November 2010, but said the school was making headway when they returned this year.
A report said: “The school is making good progress in addressing the issues for improvement and in raising standards of achievement.”
The Interim Executive Board will take over on Monday when the current board of governors officially steps down.
The government has also asked the board to look at whether the school should become an academy and consult on the idea.

Hide AdIf it became an academy, the school would be directly funded by the government and would not be accountable to Kirklees Council.
The appointment of the IEB is not expected to have any impact on daily school life for pupils.
