Elderly man injured after Dewsbury bus collision

A pensioner has been treated for a facial injury after a bus crash in Dewsbury town centre just before lunchtime today (Friday).

The 205 service is understood to have collided with the back of a four by four foreign-registered vehicle at around 11.50am just outside the bus station on Aldams Road, near the junction with Church Street.

Paramedics attended the scene, and an elderly man was one of two treated for minor injuries, but neither was hospitalised.

Two police vehicles attended and kept the road open throughout the incident, though no further action was taken.
