Double act to get audiences laughing at rare half-term show

People will have a rare chance to be part of a live and interactive animation show when an unusual double act performs in Leeds this month.

Little Howard’s Big Show, featuring comedian Howard Read, will be at the Carriageworks Theatre during May half-term.

The interactive comedy show, which is aimed at children, follow animated character Little Howard and his partner in comedy crime, Big Howard.

The performance features interactive stand-up comedy, live animation on stage and music.

They have performed their interactive shows across the world.

TV appearances by the double act include ITV’s Royal Variety Performance, three series of Little Howard’s Big Question on BBC1, CBBC’s The Slammer and Beat The Boss.

A theatre spokeswoman said: “With interactive stand-up, live animation and lots of jokes and songs this really is a show that all the family can enjoy. Big and Little Howard have toured their hilarious hi-tech shows nationally and internationally.”

The pair have also appeared on NBC’sThe Tonight Show with Jay Leno and The Melbourne International Comedy Festival Gala in Australia.

They have also published books including Little Howard’s Unpleasant Lullaby and Little Howard’s Big Book.

The show will take place on Tuesday May 26 at 2pm.
