Well the producers of hit TV show Don’t Tell the Bride are looking for couples from our region to take part in their next series.

The only catch is the bride has to let the groom organise the wedding.

The popular show, produced by Renegade Pictures, is appealing for couples in North Kirklees to get in touch.

The groom is given three weeks and a £12,000 budget to plan an entire wedding without the bride’s help.

The show needs couples who are “fun, vivacious and passionate about getting hitched” for the next series.

The appeal comes after Ian and Jay Lettice’s wedding, which was shown on the programme earlier this month, was saved by a Batley bridal shop.

Ian flew to Thailand to buy a bargain wedding dress, but disaster struck when the £1,000 gown did not fit.

Ever After Bridal Wear in Upper Commercial Street came to the couple’s rescue and got the bride a dress the day before her big day.

Their 1920s-themed wedding was also inspired by Batley’s former Variety Club.

Ian’s dad Dennis worked as a doorman at the former Variety Club.

Viewers watched Ian and Dennis visit the Frontier nightclub, which attracted stars including Tom Jones and Louis Armstrong in its heyday.
