DEWSBURY will represent Yorkshire and the Humber when the nation marks the closing of the Paralympic Games on Sunday.

The town has been chosen to host the region’s flagship event for Bandstand Marathon – a series of outdoor community concerts.

Local musicians will perform their own rendition of Coldplay’s hit Viva La Vida in Crow Nest Park at 2pm to coincide with similar performances across the UK.
