Declare your love for the NHS

On Saturday, February 14, the Don’t be a secret NHS Admirer stand was set up in Dewsbury Market to talk to people about NHS services.

On the stall there was a large Campaign for the NHS Reinstatement Bill 2015 cake on show, newspapers, badges and plenty of time to listen to people’s NHS experiences, both good and sad.

A campaigner for North Kirklees NHS Support group said: “ The Government have relinquished control of the NHS to a big quango, NHS England.

“Alongside the Clinical Commissioning Groups, Health and Wellbeing Boards, are privatising it for them. We are not scaremongering, we are talking about facts.”
