Dancing girls heading to Dewsbury

THREE evenings of glamour and decadence are promised when Bella Besame introduces her show The Slippery Belle at Dewsbury Town Hall.

Three burlesque and cabaret evenings will take place next year in February, March and May.

The burlesque art form combines a hint of Moulin Rouge, the showmanship of Cabaret and the 1950s seaside postcard humour of the Carry On! series.

Bella Besame, who runs shows at the Lowry Theatre in Salford and until recently the Peacock Lounge in Huddersfield, uses the UK and Europe’s best burlesque and cabaret performers and include at least eight performances per show.

Shows are at 8pm on February 12, March 12 and May 14.

Tickets are £10 in advance at www.kirklees.gov.uk/townhalls or from the box office on 01942 324501 or 01484 223200.

Booking well in advance is strongly recommended for this evening of sophistication and surprise.

The shows are suitable for over 16s only.
