Young woman in critical condition after two car smash in Cleckheaton

Officers were called at 7.52pm yesterday (March 10) to reports two vehicles had been in collision.

A Fiat 500 and Toyota were travelling in opposite directions when the crash occurred.

The driver of the Fiat 500, a 20-year-old woman was taken to hospital and is described as being in a critical condition.

The driver of the Toyota was taken to hospital for non life threatening injuries.

Officers are asking for any witnesses to the collision to come forward and make contact.

Officers are particularly keen to hear from anyone who has dash cam / CCTV footage of either vehicle leading up to the collision.
