Wrong way driver in Dewsbury attempts to escape from police team

Officers from Batley and Spen Neighbourhood Policing Team seized the pictured vehicle on May 6.

The team had seen the car being driven on the wrong side of the road in the Staincliffe area of Dewsbury.

The driver was spoken to by officers after parking further along the road but then made off prior to all checks being completed.

The vehicle was located and seized by the officers as the Driver had no valid Insurance or driving licence.

The driver has been reported for summons in respect of the document offences
