A man whose body was found in the back of a burning van in Dewsbury Moor is believed to have been a Hungarian national.
Firefighters were called at around 5.40am on Saturday to Heckmondwike Road where they found a van on fire.
After putting out the blaze, they found a body inside the blue Vauxhall Movano panel van.
Police were initially unable to tell if the body belonged to a man or woman.
But a post mortem examination revealed it was a man who had died of smoke inhalation.
Documents found inside the van suggest he was a Hungarian national.
It is not believed there were any suspicious circumstances.
Officers are not looking for anyone else in connection with the death.
A file has now been prepared for the coroner.
