Thieves steal prom dresses from Birstall dress shop

Raiders broke into a Birstall dress shop and stole 60 prom dresses.

Police are appealing for witnesses following the break-in, which happened at Miss Elegance Dress Shop on Low Lane at around 11.45pm last night (May 21),

The suspects forced their way into the shop and stole the prom dresses, before fleeing in a black Vauxhall Astra.

One of the suspects, described as a white male with his hood up, got into the passenger side of the Astra.

Anyone with any information about the burglary, or the whereabouts of the prom dresses, is asked to contact Batley Neighbourhood Policing Team on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
