Public tip-off leads to Batley police seizing scooter

A scooter has been seized by police officers in Batley after the rider was driving it in an anti-social manner.

The Batley and Spen Neighbourhood Officers was able to seize a green Ssooter that was seen being driven around the Manor Way area of Batley causing a nuisance to residents.

The driver was dealt with by Officers and given a Section 59 warning.

A spokesperson for the neighbourhood policing team said: "We appreciate your calls in relation to nuisance bikes and quads and our Off Road Bike Officers follow up on calls where there is useful information."
