Police uncover Heckmondwike cannabis plant farm

Police officers uncovered a cannabis plant farm after working on reliable intelligence from the public.

Officers from the Batley and Spen Neighbourhood Policing team discovered and dismantled the cannabis farm in the Heckmondiwke area this week.

A spokesperson for the NPT said: "We will continue to shut these down but we need your help.

"Please continue to report these matters to us if you suspect that there is cannabis being grown anywhere."

Enquiries are ongoing.
