Police patrols in Kirklees cracking down on crime see this car seized in Gomersal

Police carrying out crime and CCTV patrols came across this car and seized it when checks were carried out.

Car seized by police in Gomersal (West Yorkshire Police)

On March 3 officers from the Batley and Spen Neighbourhood Policing Team had a busy morning.

A spokesperson for the team said car was seized in Gomersal and the driver reported for no insurance or license.

A spokesperson for the policing team said: "Traffic stops are an integral part of policing, helping to disrupt travelling criminals, build an intelligence picture and keep our roads safe.

"Officers will continue to conduct traffic stops throughout their normal patrol."
