Masked robbers wielding a knife steal cash from Dewsbury shop

Masked men threatened a shop worker with a knife during a terrifying robbery in Dewsbury.

Kirklees District CID is appealing for information about the incident which took place at about a Costcutters on Brunswick Street, Dewsbury during the evening of Friday December 27.

It occurred at about 8.30pm after two masked males entered the store and threatened a female member of staff inside with a knife.

They then fled with a quantity of cash, leaving the woman shaken but unharmed.

Both were described as Asian with one man wearing a mustard coloured Puffa style jacket and cream track suit bottoms.

The other was wearing a black Puffa style jacket and black tracksuit bottoms.

Anyone who saw two men fitting the description outside the store just before or after the robbery or who has any information should contact Kirklees District CID on 101 referencing crime number 13190660742.
