Man, 29, to appear in court over machete assault in Batley
A 29-year-old man pleaded not guilty to an assault and threatening behaviour in Batley.

The offences allegedly involved the use of a machete.
Police confirmed the incident did not result in anyone being injured.
The arrest was made after work from West Yorkshire Police’s project Operation Jemlock.
The man appeared at Kirklees’ Magistrates’ Court in connection with the incident.
He will next appear in court next year in January.
