'Large knife' found in car after Batley police chase

Police officers in Kirklees recovered a knife from a 4x4 vehicle after a police chase through Batley.

Officers from the Batley and Spen Neighbourhood Policing team responded after seeing a vehicle in the Soothill area.

After a police chase on January 13 the police recovered the vehicle which had no number plates or insurance.

Whilst searching the vehicle officers found what they described as ' a large knife' in the driver side door.

The vehicle was seized by police and placed on the back of a recovery truck just before 10pm.
