Hunt for man who urinated around Dewsbury train station and spat and punched commuters

Officers investigating an incident at Dewsbury railway station have released CCTV images of man they want to speak to.

On Saturday October 10 at 8.30am, a man has pushed a member of the public over outside Dewsbury station and spat at her.

The man then entered the station, urinating on the access ramp as he did so.

While urinating, he blocked the path of another member of the public and made inappropriate comments before asking her for money and looking through her handbag and purse.

A third member of the public then intervened, allowing the woman to get away.

The man then followed this member of the public out the station and punched him in the back of the head, causing him to fall to the ground.

The man then re-entered the station and spat at another woman, who was purchasing a ticket in the booking office.

Officers believe the man in the CCTV images may have information which could assist their investigation.
