Porritt, now of Westgate, Dewsbury, pleaded guilty to two counts of rape, attempted rape, assault by penetration and two counts of sexual assault.

Porritt was convicted of attempting to a rape a child under the age of 13 in 2010 and was sentenced to four years in a young offender institution.

Christopher Dunn, mitigating, said Porritt carried out the latest offences after he had been drinking and had taken drugs.

Mr Dunn said: "This is a serious case and the defendant appreciates that it will be an extended sentence.

"He accepts that when in drink and on drugs he is dangerous.

"If ever there was a Jekyll and Hyde type of case, this is one."

The barrister said his client pleaded guilty to the offences at an early stage.

Sentencing Porritt, Judge Robin Mairs said: "Ten years ago you were guilty of predatory sexual offences.

"It would appear that predatory sexual aggression has not left you.

"When in drink and on drugs you attack without warning.

"You clearly have a problem with alcohol, which is a trigger, along with drugs."

The judge told Porritt he was imposing an extended sentence as he considered him to pose a serious danger to women in the future.

He added: "The risk is enormous that you pose and the harm is serious and obvious."

Porritt must serve a custodial term of 11 and a half years, of which he must spend at least two-thirds in jail, followed by a further licence period of six years.
