Balaclava wearing gang armed with weapons threaten people in Liversedge house robbery

Detectives in Kirklees are appealing for help after Balaclava wearing men armed with weapons robbed a house in Liversedge.

At 2pm on July 3 four suspects forced their way into the property in the Roberttown Lane area and threatened the occupants inside.

The suspects made off with cash and jewellery.

A short while later officers sighted a Black BMW vehicle driving at speed on Cliff Lane, Gomersal, some items from the robbery were discarded from the vehicle.

Detective Sergeant Adam Johnson from Kirklees CID, said: ‘This was an incredibly distressing and frightening incident for the victims.

‘I would like to appeal to the public for witnesses or any information to come forward to the police to assist us with our enquiries.

‘Extensive enquiries into the robbery are ongoing including CCTV and house to house enquiries.’

No one was injured in the robbery.
