Appeal: Missing Leeds woman has links to Cleckheaton

Police are continuing to appeal for information to trace a woman who has gone missing from home in Leeds.

Glennys Scrivener,58, who has links to Cleckheaton, was last seen at her home in Adel at about 6.45am on Monday.

She is described as white, about 5ft 7ins tall, chubby, with straight, collar-length white hair. It is not known what she was wearing. She does not drive so uses public transport. She has links to Cleckheaton.

Detective Inspector Ian Scott, of Leeds District CID, said: “We are continuing to conduct extensive enquiries to trace Glennys today. We are very concerned for her welfare, particularly given the length of time for which she has now been missing.

“The appeal for information that we made yesterday has attracted a high level of public interest, particularly on social media, and I would encourage people to keep sharing these appeals and her photograph.

“We would like to hear urgently from anyone who has seen her or heard from her since she went missing or who has any information as to her current whereabouts.”
