Alcohol stolen from St Paulinus Parochial Hall in Dewsbury

Thieves broke into St Paulinus Parochial Hall in Dewsbury causing damage to the building and stealing £60 worth of alcohol.

A security alarm activated at the hall in Dewsbury High Street at 12.45am on Sunday, May 31.

Police are now appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

PC Samantha Smith, of Dewsbury and Mirfield Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “We are keen to speak to anyone with information about the break-in at this community building.

“We know that the alarm activated in the early hours of Sunday morning but it may be that the person or persons responsible have broken in some time before this so we are keen to speak to anyone who has seen anything suspicious in the area.

“Anyone with information is asked to call Dewsbury and Mirfield NPT via 101.”
