Charity challenge goes the distance
Fitness fans clocked up hundreds of kilometres to raise money for Sports Relief.
Staff and visitors at Batley Baths and Recreation Centre swam, ran and cycled in a 13 and a half hour charity challenge on Friday, raising £118.19.
Pupils visiting the centre joined the fun, and Olympic torchbearer Alex Dumitru brought his torch from the 2012 Summer Games to support the fundraiser.

Hide AdWest Yorkshire Canoe Club also took to the pool to add a few kilometres to the total.
Duty manager Lawrence Blackford said: “In total, we swam 40.2km, ran 77.72km and cycled 244.82km.
“We managed to keep the activities going all day, and we were pleased to help to raise money for such a good cause.”
