Celebrating Hindu new year is Child’s Play!
Traditional dances, artwork and dressing up were used to help children celebrate Hindu New Year.
Youngsters at Child’s Play Nursery on ThornhillRoad were taught about traditional celebrations as part of the event last Thursday.
Nursery assistant Natalie Webb, who is pictured above with Lacey Hargreaves, Umar Akhtar and Katelyn Asquith, said the children had a brilliant time. She added: “The celebrations went really well, the children loved it.” (w268b316)
