CCTV images of Tesco theft released

CCTV image of Cleckheaton Tesco theft suspect.

At the Tesco in Northgate, Cleckheaton, a male and female are believed to have filled a trolley with food and spirits, including six bottles of Grey Goose vodka worth £228.

They then walked out of the store without paying. The theft happened at around 11.35am on Tuesday February 17.

PC Chris Birkenshaw, of the Batley and Spen Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “The CCTV footage is good quality and I would ask people to look at the images and contact police if they recognise either of these two individuals.

“Shoplifting increases the cost of goods for everyone and any reports will be treated seriously and fully investigated by police.”
