The window of a glass waiting shelter at Dewsbury railway station was smashed.

Police have released CCTV images of a youth they would like to speak to in connection with the incident, which took place on Sunday May 26 around 9pm.

PC John Clethro, of British Transport Police, said: “Two youths were seen throwing objects at the waiting room shelter on platform one at the station. One of the youths threw an object which then smashed though the waiting shelter’s glass, causing it to shatter.

“Criminal damage such as this will not be tolerated on the rail network and we will do all we can to catch those responsible and bring them to justice.

“I’d urge anyone who may recognise the youth pictured to come forward and help with this investigation.”
