Bishop John Gibbs came to Batley Parish Church during its Christmas Fair on Saturday, December 12.
The church was decorated with a Christmas carol theme for the event.
It included a number of craft stalls as well as refreshments and a Santa’s Grotto. There were also festive family activities on offer and the fair ended with singing of Christmas carols.
