Cannabis farm with more than 1,000 plants shut down
A cannabis farm containing more than 1,000 plants has been shut down by police.
Officers from Dewsbury and Mirfield neighbourhood police team (NPT) carried out the raid on a building, on Church Street, Dewsbury at around 10.15am on Friday.
A police spokesman said a member of the public noticed the smell of cannabis and called the police.
They then forced entry to the building and seized the equipment.
