Hide AdArriva regional managing director Nigel Featham said: “We understand that this solution may not be ideal for all our passengers. However, we are already seeing more and more journeys arriving and leaving on time which is very positive.”
He said Arriva would continue to monitor the situation.
But Dewsbury Chamber of Trade is calling on unhappy businesses, shoppers and bus passenger to complain in writing to Arriva.
President Trish Makepeace said businesses on the old route were losing trade they desperately need.
“For them to say they are not going to change their mind is disgusting,” she said. “Everyone complaining in writing is the only way we’re going to make them listen.”
