Brighouse band to perform at church
The Brighouse and Rastrick brass band will be performing at St Mary the Virgin Parish Church, Mirfield on Saturday 28 April at 7.30pm.
The successful band were crowned Champion Band of Great Britain after competing against the best brass bands in the country at the Royal Albert Hall in London.
Spokesman said: “All proceeds from the concert will go to the Mirfield Parish Team Appeal Fund and the Yorkshire and Humberside Brass Band Association.
“Please show your support and be blown away by this great band. There’s a wide programme of music to suit all tastes featuring award winning soloists.”
