Batley Grammar School GCSE results

BATLEY Grammar School has enjoyed another year of excellent GCSE results. This year, 70 percent of students gained fice A*-C grades, including English and maths. The number of A*-C passes per pupil is given in brackets beside their name.

The top performing pupil was Patrick Masso Walsh, who achieved 10A*, 1A and 1B, including an A distinction in additional maths. Other high flyers were Khuzaima Bhatti, Max Haley, Hawwa Hamzah, Mahmud Mulla, Abraar Nanawadeee, Adam Rutledge, Aarifah Seedat, Summayaha Sheth and Alisha Zia.

“We are delighted with the achievements of our students and congratulate them. These results reflect the dedication and hard work by both staff and students alike and, as our year 11 students leave us, we wish them well in the next stage of their education. There were many exceedingly happy students leaving us having collected their results this morning, knowing that they had secured the grades to make the transition to the next stage in their education,” said headteacher Brigid Tullie.
