He said: “I’m really excited about being on the pitch at Wembley with the players before the match. It will be amazing to see the stadium and see them play.”

Taking centre stage on the famous Wembley pitch will be even more significant as England begin their preparations for this summer’s World Cup.

McDonald’s Director of Football Sir Geoff Hurst said: “The build up to the World Cup in Brazil starts here and this game will give the players a real chance to impress Roy Hodgson and earn their spot in the tournament squad.

“It’s sure to be a great game and I am certain that the McDonald’s Player Escorts will have a fantastic evening.”
