Batley 4Networking Group welcomes small to medium sized firms to its breakfast group, where they can meet others working in the town.

The group holds fortnightly meetings in Hannah’s Tea Rooms at The Mill outlet shopping centre in Bradford Road.

Armstrong Watson accountant Mr Byram said: “Since the launch two years ago, we have grown steadily and have a wide range of businesses.

“We regularly have businesses in the teens turning up for the meetings.

“The format means that 4Networking is open to all business types and we often find that people from the same industry end up collaborating.

“It is testament to the attitude of businesses in the area that this has grown into such a buzzing meeting.”

As well as open networking, members take part in a 40 second round where they tell the room about themselves and their businesses.

Each attendee also has three one-to-one appointments with other networkers.

Batley was chosen to host the meetings because of the number of independently owned businesses in the town.
