Awards celebrate our Xplosion
Batley Xplosion have taken their first steps onto the national competitive stage, becoming overall champions in stunting.
Xplosion managed to take two first, one third and a fifth place result at their second national performance at the Ice Extravaganza Dance Competition last weekend in Walsall.

Hide AdAnd earlier this year at their first national performance they came fourth.
Jon Humpleby, Batley Bulldogs Community Manager said: “They have improved beyond recognition between these contests.
“Getting ready for the contests they have been practicing like mad.
“The club is one hundred percent behind them and is appreciates what they bring to us so much.”

Hide AdCelebrating their success the team held a 1920s themed awards night to honour the performance of its members.
Among the winners were Ellie Strafford, named cheerleader of the year and most improved cheerleader, Grace Smith.
Siana Toohey, was also named the team’s rising star and Molly Reid won the award cheerleader’s cheerleader.
The team were joined on the night by some of the Bulldogs players to thank and congratulate them for their performances.

Hide AdDuring he season the girls have entertained the crowds at Bulldog games, attending all of the club’s home matches.
Xplosion was established two years ago, making its debut in front of a crowd at Mount Pleasant for a Boxing day clash with Dewsbury Rams.
And they are hoping to expand further, recruiting more children to the team next year.
Olivia Scott, Community Dance Manager said: “We are always looking for new talent.

Hide Ad“No experience is necessary. I’ve never met a person I can’t coach yet so don’t be worried about that.”
The club are currently hoping to attract individual or business sponsorship for the team,
