Armed gang rob Batley family in middle of night

FOUR robbers, two armed with a brick and a metal pole, forced their way into a Batley home in the middle of the night.

The robbers woke a sleeping married couple and their two-year-old daughter, who was asleep in her parents’ bed in Healey Lane on January 5 at 2.30am.

Two of the intruders went upstairs where they threatened their victims, a 34-year-old man and his wife, aged 28, with the weapons they picked up from the garden, before demanding cash.
