A cuppa helps world's poor

DEWSBURY and Mirfield folk are being invited to have a cuppa to raise charity funds.

Christian Aid is inviting people all over the world to take part in Tea Time to help people in the world's poorest communities work their way out of poverty.

This Friday, September 19, from 4pm until 6pm, Longcauseway Pilots group is holding a Christian Aid Tea Time event at Highfield United Reformed Church in Earlsheaton.

One of the Pilot leaders, Jo Hartley, said: "We're organising a Tea

Time because our Pilots want to help other people who they know to be much less fortunate then themselves.

"Please come along for a delicious slice of cake and a cuppa, and all for 1. With your support we can make a real difference to the lives of some of the world's poorest people."
