Batley sisters raise more that £1,000 for the Little Princess trust

Sisters Freya and Faris Moorhouse from Batley have raised more than £1,000 for the Little Princess Trust by having their haircut and donated to the charity.

The Trust provides a free, real hair wig to help restore a child’s confidence and identity when they lose their hair due to cancer or another condition.

The Trust relies solely on the efforts of enthusiastic community fundraisers and receives no formal funding of any kind.

Freya, aged 12, donated over 12 inches of hair, while Fairs, aged eight, donated over seven inches of hair.

Proud dad Christian said: “They both chose to do the hair donation and fundraising because they wanted to help other girls who have had cancer.

“The hair donation helps The Little Princess Trust make wigs and the over £1,000 pounds they have raised goes to help make the wigs and also further research against cancer.”
