All Trails, an app and website which provides information about local trails, has listed seven highly rated walking routes near Dewsbury, Batley, Mirfield, Cleckheaton and Liversedge covering a range of distances and terrains.

Batley Farms and Woods Circular: Rated 4.2 out of five by All Trails users, this is a relatively short 3.7km walk which starts just outside Batley near Howley Beck. Oakwell Hall Country Park: An easy 3.1km circular trail which can be completed in less than an hour. The route follows a figure of eight shape, taking in Novawood and Scotland Beck.
