The story starts with a dad saying his goodbyes to his family as he leaves to go to work on an oil rig.

As he is driving away, his young daughter chases after him to give him a letter that's addressed to Santa at the North Pole, which he puts inside his lunchbox.

It seems like he forgets about the letter until he notices it after taking a drink from a bottle of Coke...panicked he sees the 'post' boat pulling away from the rig, but he jumps onto a boat and chases it.

But the engine fails and he's left floating in the ocean. To add to his bad luck, a huge blue whale jumps from the sea, knocking him into the water.

He's then seen washed up on the shoreline, still holding the letter.

Not giving up, he continues through forests, cliffs and lakes until he reaches the North Pole.

He spots a chalet illuminated with lights with the Northern Lights in the distance. but the sign on the door says 'Closed for Christmas.'

He falls to his knees - which is when the Coca Cola truck comes to the rescue.

The mystery driver offers him a lift back home and hands him his daughter's letter as he gets out of the cabin.

It's at that point he opens and reads it.

"Dear Santa, please bring daddy home for Christmas."

He looks up and spots his daughter running towards him and they are reunited.

As they embrace, the message on the screen reads: "This Christmas, give something only you can give."

Sobbing yet?

It then cuts to the driver of the truck - showing none other than Santa himself - who gives a wink.

The advert will be shown on TV until December.
