New Batley B&M store reveals opening date and support for food bank

B&M has announced it is set to open a brand new store on January 20 creating more than 40 jobs.
Staff were asked to nominate a local charity they think truly deserves some VIP treatment for the work they do for the local community.

Hide AdThey chose the team from Batley Foodbank to take centre stage and officially unveil the new B&M store next week.


The store manager said: “Batley Foodbank really stood out for us so we wanted to give them some VIP treatment as a thank you for all the hard work that they have done, especially during the pandemic. We hope that our donation can help them to continue the great work.”
“Our colleagues have been working really hard to get the store ready for opening day, we can’t wait to get the doors open next week and show customers their brand new B&M store.”
Batley Foodbank is a local charity that provides seven-day nutritionally balanced food parcels and support for individuals and families in Batley.
Since opening in 2013, the charity has helped thousands of people and continue to do so.
